Our Story
A city that is set on an hill cannot be hid.
MATTHEW 5:14
It began with a single message in 1995. More than three decades later, the Lord is still building City of Miracles one soul at a time. Our light still shines, and the Word of God is still preached strong in this house.
The Mission
To teach and preach the full gospel to believers and unbelievers for the empowerment of our lives.
“Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.” Mark 16:15
The Vision
We believe our light should shine before men, that God shall get the glory in our lifetime.
“Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” Matthew 5:16
The Mark
We press toward the mark: to live our best for Christ as fruitful branches of the true Vine, witnessing to help save many souls, and teaching the plan of salvation to believers and unbelievers.
“I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.” Philippians 3:14
“I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit.” John 15:5

Our Shepherd
Pastor Ezra L. O’Neal Jr.
Pastor O’Neal’s calling began in January 1995, when he preached his first message in the game room of Lakeland Manor Apartments in Pleasant Grove, Dallas. As the young ministry grew, he stepped out on faith, leaving a leadership role in corporate America to give himself fully to the ministry of the Word.
For more than three decades he has fed this flock with knowledge and understanding (Jeremiah 3:15), anchored in the conviction that has marked his preaching from the start:
“A little bit of truth cures a whole lot of pain!”
Our Journey
Faithful in small things.
“For who hath despised the day of small things?” Zechariah 4:10
A seed is planted
Miracle Apostolic Church begins with a single message in a Pleasant Grove apartment game room. Wednesday night Bible study soon follows.
Stepping out on faith
The congregation moves into a 1,200 sq ft storefront on Miller Road in Garland, and Pastor O’Neal answers the call to full-time ministry.
God gives the increase
The ministry moves into its first standalone 5,000 sq ft building, launches its auxiliaries, and grows to about 186 members in four years (1 Corinthians 3:6).
A new name
Miracle Apostolic Church becomes City of Miracles Ministries.
Still pressing toward the mark
More than three decades later, we are still pressing on. Every Sunday and Wednesday we gather, wherever we are, to worship and grow in the Word together (Philippians 3:14).
Be part of what God is building.
He which hath begun a good work in you will perform it (Philippians 1:6). Join us this Sunday at 11:00 AM CT.
