For the last 25 years, the City of Miracles have been blessed to have been blessed to have Bishop Ezra L. O’Neal as our shepherd.
Bishop’s journey into ministry began in January 1995 as he preached his first message in the game room of Lakeland Manor Apartments located in the Southeast Dallas, TX area known as Pleasant Grove. During this time, the name of the ministry was Miracle Apostolic Church. The ministry experienced growth of visitors and members with the implementation of Wednesday night Bible Study.
Miracle Apostolic soon needed more space. In the summer of 1996, the congregation made its first major move into a 1200 square foot storefront located at 1918 Miller Road Suite 101 Garland TX. Two years later The City acquired the adjacent suite for an additional 1200 square feet of service space. It was at this time Bishop left his corporate position and entered into ministry fulltime.
In 1999, several departments were developed in the ministry as it’s congregation moved into its first standalone building which was 5000 square feet. During that time membership increased to approximately 186 members in a four-year time span.
